One Village Threatened to be Imprisoned, What Is the Cause?
Pojok Nasional. Dozens of Sukowidi Village devices, Kartoharjodi Subdistrict, Magetan are threatened with imprisonment. They were allegedly involved in the Village Cash Land compensation committee (TKD) of the impact of the Ngawi-Wilangan toll road project.
The State Prosecutor's Office (Kejari) Magetan suspects that there are findings of fraud related to the procurement of the village treasury land.
"Cases of compensation from land acquisition for toll roads, where there is land acquisition of village treasury land which is allegedly not in accordance with the provisions. Thus causing potential state losses because the price is marked up by Sukowidi Village equipment," said Attorney Atang Pujianto when contacted by AFP On Thursday (11/22/2018).
Atang said that indications of fraud in the Sukowidi Village equipment were in the village head, Malikun. Malikun allegedly deliberately prepared land to replace village land. The village treasury purchased by the village head, continued Atang, was purchased at a very cheap price when he discovered there was a toll road project.
"The village head of Sukowidi bought land at very cheap prices from the residents. This was planned before because there was a toll road project. The land purchased by the village head was in the form of planned land used as a replacement land for village cash with an estimated price higher than the purchase , "Atang said.
Atang said, almost all village officials were threatened to be jailed if they were not cooperative in the examination. Atang said that the village officials who were dishonest in the examination could be burdensome because the Kejari Magetan party had gathered some evidence of indications of fraud.
Meanwhile Kasi Intel Kejari Magetan Sudiharyansyah said that the land owned by the village head was 30,807 square meters purchased as village cash at a price of Rp. 137 thousand per meter or around Rp. 4.4 billion. Even though the paddy fields were bought from the residents only at very cheap prices.
"Our guess is that this village head enriched himself from the state compensation money for the toll road. Accidentally used the moment to buy rice fields belonging to his people at a cheap price. After acknowledging his ownership, this village sold for village cash land at much more expensive prices," said Sudiharyansyah.
Sudiharyansyah revealed, currently his party is still developing an investigation into the case. According to him, the value of state losses is still in the calculation phase.
"In the case of procuring a replacement for the Village Cash Land there is a P2T team chaired by the village head. For the value of the losses we still investigate by checking all village officials," he said.
From the data collected by AFP, the village officials who had undergone the examination included the Village Head of Malikun, Secretary of the Village Ratna, Head of Hamlet 1 Dewi. In addition, several government officials were also examined, including Wawan, Yanti, Agus, and Yahya.
