Drought Still Occurs in NTT If There Are 4 Drought-Stricken Districts

East Sumba Regency in the area around Melolo, Temu / Kanatang, Kawangu, and Rambangaru, Sabu Raijua District (around Daieko), and Malaka District (around Biudukfoho). Regarding the opportunity for dasarian III rainfall in November, he explained, based on a map of forecast rainfall opportunities dasarian III November 2018, it is known that the NTT region is predicted to have a 51-100 mm rainfall opportunity of 60-100 percent.


"Except in a small part of Alor Regency and a small part of Timor Tengah Utara Regency is predicted to have a 0-20 mm rainfall opportunity of 60-100 percent," he said.


While in parts of Ende District, a small part of Kupang Regency, South Timor Tengah, Rote Ndao, Sabu Raijua, Lembata, Alor and Malacca are predicted to have a 21-50 mm rainfall opportunity of 60-90 percent.


"As well as in parts of West Manggarai Regency, Manggarai, most of East Manggarai, Ngada, a small portion of Nagekeo Regency, Belu, Timor Tengah Utara, TTS, Kupang, East Sumba is predicted to have a rainfall of 101 - 150 mm by 60-90 percent," he said.
